Connie Maxwell Children’s Home

Once again Connie Maxwell Children’s Home will welcome you to our Greenwood Campus for “A Connie Maxwell Christmas!” Enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas as we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child. We have set aside December 8, 9 and 10 for this annual event. Each evening begins at 6:00PM and concludes by 8:30PM. You will enjoy wagon rides, hot chocolate, a petting zoo, and a live nativity. Musical performances will take place in
Connie Maxwell Baptist Church.  Admission is free. Use 810 Maxwell Avenue Greenwood, SC 29646 for your GPS. The lights remain on throughout the month.

Children have a safe, secure, loving environment at Connie Maxwell. We are a  home for some children who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected and some who have been placed by loving caregivers going through difficult  situations. Take a moment and visit our site to learn more about us: locations, outdoor life, enrichment, volunteering, churches, history, FAQs and employment.

Connie Maxwell Children’s Home provides safety and a sense of peace for children through residential care.  Physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met by trained compassionate caregivers.

Family Care works to ensure  emotional stability, parenting skills, and life skills through a  holistic  approach while encouraging services that provide  independent  living and stability.

Being a foster parent is a vital ministry to precious children who often come from tragic  circumstances. Foster families provide children a safe place to live until  a more permanent home can be found.
