Connie Maxwell Children's Home has received its first  children at our Adams Campus shelter care facility in the 4th Judicial Circuit near Chesterfield. The facility is named the Adams Campus in honor of the major donor, Paul Adams, a former student of Connie Maxwell and former resident of Chesterfield. Adams is a veteran of WWII and served on board the USS Nevada when it was attacked in Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The home will serve as a crisis care facility for boys and girls.
