Golf Tournament - Where: Hunters Creek Golf Course Phone: 1-864-223-9286
When: Friday June 6 TeeTimes: 8:00am - 9:30am ; 11:00am til closing. Cost: $28.00 + tax (will include cart) The manager has asked that everyone report to the pro shop desk to sign in and let them know that you are with CMCH! As always, remember to leave your score card at the pro shop desk and please total your scores! Special lessons are available if desired. Special gift to all golfing. Prizes also for closest to pin and longest drive. Lee Hiers - Chair.
Bowling Tournament - The Bowling Tournament will be held at EXPO 300 Bowling Lanes on Highway 25 North from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Friday. Cost of the tournament will be $8.50 per person which includes shoes, and three games. Prizes will be awarded for Best Score for Boys, Best Score for Girls, Best Score for Alumnus and Best Overall Score. Lee and Bobby Foster - Co-Chairs.
Fishing Tournament - The Alumni Fishing Tournament will be held at the Big Pond (behind the block house) on June 6, 2008 from 2 pm - 4 pm. There will be six trophies with three categories: 3-10 years old, 11-18 years old and 19 and above. Trophies will be awarded for the Most Fish Caught and Biggest Fish Caught and presented on Saturday morning at the Alumni Business Meeting. You must catch your own fish! Some limited fishing equipment will be provided. Judges will be Glenn and Cheryl Faile. Bait, tackle, and cane poles will be furnished if needed. A bottle of water will be given to all participants. All students interested in participating in the Fishing Tournament should be in front of the Sam M. Smith Activities Center by 1:45pm. A flatbed truck and tractor with a trailer will be available to transport students to the pond. Dale Kline is Chairman of the Alumni Fishing Tournament.

The Early Bird Reception will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 6:30pm at the Oasis. Entertainment will include Marvin Dangerfield, Sheryl Barr and Heavenly Sound. The menu includes: "Jack's Pig", bar-b-que sauce, buns, slaw, pickles, brownies, tea, lemonade, and coffee. The Committee includes: Leslie Taylor - Chair, Janice and Troy Sowell, Mae Kimbo, and Virginia Faye Beam.

Connie Maxwell Items for Sale Once again, we will have Connie Maxwell related items for sale at very reasonable prices. Items will include shirts, baseball hats, Christmas Ornaments, seat cushions, license tags, cookbooks, note cards, bottled water and Mack Baltzegar's Sketches of Home. We will be located in the lobby of the Sam Smith Activities Center.

The Honor Roll Fund is the account that pays for all our reunion expenses, as well as, any other expenses incurred by our organization. Gifts to this fund have been slow as of late. The fund currently stands at around $5,000. This is a little low with our reunion just months away. Let me encourage you to give to this fund and help share the cost of our upcoming reunion. Our alumni project, as voted on by the Alumni Board, is to renovate the OASIS area, including expanding the kitchen and building a new bathhouse. We are $25,500 away from fulfilling our goal of $80,000. Please use the E-Donation Page to make a donation to the Honor Roll Fund and/or the Project Fund. Donations are tax deductible!
