We use the Children and Residential Experiences: Creating Conditions for Change (CARE) practice model. This practice model incorporates six guiding principles that allow us to create a balanced life while helping the child cope with their family circumstances.
Our crisis care program offers many of the same recreational activities as our residential care program. These activities provide our children a rich and full life as well as help them improve their interpersonal skills. Like all Connie Maxwell residents, children in our crisis care receive medical and dental assessments and any needed follow-up care and personal items. We also offer fun birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and access to other campus-wide activities.
